Massage Therapy

Cindee Gorowski has over 11 years experience working at various locations and events.  She has worked with the Blue Bombers and B.C. Lions in addition to fitness facility, day spas and sports clinics. She is  trained in the various styles of massage.

Swedish Massage/ Deep Tissue Massage:

Deep tissue is a type of massage thereapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue.

Sports Massage:

Heips to reduce chance of injury, improve range of motion and muscle flexibility, resulting in improved power and  performance;    shorten recovery time; increase the flow of nutrients and oxygen through increase blood flow; enhance elimination of metabolic by- products of exercise.  Sports massage can be used before or after an event.

Myofascial Release: 

Myofascial release is a safe and very effective technique that involves applying a gentle sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue restriction to eliminate pain and restore motion. It can be used for the enhancement of strength, improve flexibility and posture, trauma, inflammatory responses, post surgical restrictions.

Massage Therapy can be used for:

  • Chronic pain
  • limited mobility
  • recovery from injuries (eg. whiplash, falls, sports injuries)
  • repetitive strain, such as carpal tunnel
  • postural problems
  • osteoarthritis pain
  • fibromyalgia
  • muscle tension or spasm
